| Our studios |
We are located in a studio-cum-workshop in Surry Hills. |
More factory than pristine showcase for design this is a relaxed environment where project management happens in parallel with design, explored through model-making, prototyping, heaps of drawings and experimentation with ideas, materials and manufacturing often in collaboration with creatives around us. |
We have a Gallery as well called The Trophy Room Gallery which is a small space (the old garage) which we offer to local artists for three-month residencies and a one-night-only opening at seasons end. We provide the sausages. And each year at years end we do a blind auction - last year it was robots - raising money for local charities. |
Supple is available to discuss new projects on appointment. |
The boss |
Raised in Adelaide, Eoghan Lewis graduated in architecture at the University of South Australia before moving to Germany for three years in the mid-90's where he worked for a variety of leading international firms including Auer + Weber in Stuttgart and Zvi Hecker in Berlin. He returned to Australia and settled in Sydney in 1997 where he worked with Engelen Moore, Bligh Voller Nield and Stanisic Turner. |
He formed Supple Design in 2000 and in the same year created the Sydney Architecture Walks which he still runs; the public side of a private practice. |
Eoghan is a graduate architect from the University of South Australia and is not a Registered Architect. |
